VI International Symposium of Pig Production


The International Association of Agricultural Students at University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (IAAS - UTAD) located in Vila Real - Portugal, will hold on March, 25th and 26th 2011, the VI International Symposium of Pig Production.

During two days, the symposium will be organized into sessions such as: Nutrition / Environment, Reproduction / Production, Management, Animal Welfare and Animal Health; moreover, on the last day we will have a Round-table.

The aims of this Symposium are to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between national and international scientific community, students, entrepreneurs, technicians and farmers. It is our intention that this Symposium constitutes an important forum for debate and reflection of the problems, solutions and researches which affect the sector.
